Digital Content Strategist – ITC Worldwide; this is a telecommuting position
Description:
ITC Worldwide, Ltd., Digital Media Group is looking for an experienced and Strategic Web Editor, preferably with at least 5 years experience managing a large content site and packaging magazine-like content for the web. The candidate must be able to think strategically about expressing brands online and developing and distributing content in a custom content environment. The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of content development, content strategy, production and syndication; site architecture, search and usability; and have had significant responsibility for and knowledge of managing the user experience to increase traffic and time spent metrics. Strong writing and editing skills required, with a primary responsibility for developing and sourcing content as well as overseeing freelance writers, editors and designers for various web projects. Works collaboratively with senior leadership in Sales and Account Services to determine and deliver the highest-value and most-needed content for users/customers. The editor must have top-notch communication skills and be able to translate business and marketing needs into editorial objectives. Experience with a variety of web content vehicles also required, such as ability to generate marketing oriented content for e-newsletters.

-Recommendations for web 3. 0 functionality and how to apply to meet client objectives. Write and edit content features and copy for home pages, themed pages, editorial packages and various campaigns or oversee freelance editors and writers . Familiarity with content management tools for site updates. Analyze visitor hits to the various features of sites and execute adjustments to increase traffic and metrics. Familiarity with lifestyle marketing a plus . Monitor industry trends. Knowledge of best web practices; awareness of latest innovative approaches and technologies for design and delivery of content on the web. Knowledge of traffic and audience building tactics and practices. Familiarity with integrating content and advertising. Experience establishing web partnerships with third parties for traffic build. Must collaborate with both internal departments and external vendors. Ms Office Presentation Skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work in a collaborative team environment is essential.
